Details of 5 Day Beijing Tour Package A (with hotel)

Day 1: Arrival at Beijing
Arrive in Beijing. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2: Beijing (B, L)
Full day trip to the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City (including the Exhibition of Treasures), and the Temple of Heaven. On the way to the Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture.
In the evening (7:15~8:30PM), enjoy the Peking Opera Show (or Chinese Acrobatic show, or Chinese Kongfu show, choose one show from these three options, depending on your interest).
- Tiananmen Square: The largest public square in the world with a total area of 440,000 square meters.
- Forbidden City: The best preserved imperial palace in China and the largest ancient palatial structure in the world.
- Temple of Heaven: The largest existing complex of ancient sacrificial buildings in China.
Day 3: Beijing (B, L, D)
Full day trip to the Badaling Great Wall, Ming Tomb. Enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner in the most famous Quanjude Restaurant. On the way to Badaling Great Wall, we will visit a large scale jade processing factory. There is workshop for demonstration of Jade carving, the visit will help you to know the processes of Chinese jade carving and Chinese jade culture. You may also take photo in the huge Jade exhibition hall or buy some jade carving souvenir as you like.
- Badaling Great Wall: The most famous and best-preserved section of the Great Wall.
- Ming Tomb: Buried 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty, it is the largest clusters of imperial cemeteries in China.
Day 4: Beijing (B, L)
We will drive to Hutong, a tour to Beijing Rear Lake area (Shi Cha Lake). Visitors will be arranged to visit the old Beijing lanes by rickshaws bicycle ride, across many narrow streets, Hutong tour lasts for about 2 hours, led by local guide, visitors will visit the typical Chinese quadrangles, where you can experience the real life of ordinary people in Beijing, and pass many famous old building, like the drum tower, silver bridge, etc.

Have lunch in local family, home cooked Chinese dumpling, everyone loves it.

Then visit the Summer Palace in the afternoon. Visit a Chinese fresh water pearl shop near Summer Palace to do some shopping. It a nice place to buy a necklace or bracelet. It is very good gift from China.
- Summer Palace: The largest and most well-preserved royal park in China, greatly influences Chinese horticulture.
Day5: Beijing (B)
Transfer from hotel to airport, see off.

Great experience! Hutong was absolutely an interesting place to explore in Beijing. We did saw lot of old architectural buildings include school, local residence, shops and other destinations around the area. Taking the rickshaw was also very fun and it is a new thing for us! Very enjoy the tour and very recommended for you who want to explore all of the famous attractions in the city!

Had an unbelievable day on the tour!! We could not get over the beautiful scenery in each sightseeing there. The most impressive one was Badaling Great Wall. Although the weather was a little bit cold in the above of the Wall, but we still could enjoyed the stunning scenery around. It was very proud climbed the Wall!

I was very pleased and satisfied with our 5 day Beijing package tour. These days we visited the most representative attractions of Beijing like the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and Hutong and with the patient introduction of each tourist destination given by our professional tour guide, I found that I am more interested in traditional Chinese culture than before. We are a family of 5 people, we just finished our tour in Beijing. It was a good stay. The car was clean, and the driver was patient and skilful. I saw all the important sights, and my guide, Emmett, provided a lot of information about each place. The Hutong tour and lunch, the Peking duck dinner and the acrobat show were highlights of the tour. We enjoyed them so much. On a whole the trip was very good. I have recommend this tour to our friends and family.
